"STELLITE6" is cobalt-base alloy, which with features of high hardness,(HV=40, Aprox. 2 times of  Austenitic Stainless Steel, it is hard to machine by ordinary tools ), good wear-resistance, its mainly applied to small area weld of valve port, blade of tools and etc. The Slag Collection manufactured by us for Datang Group, length of hardfacing:1350mm, it is conical surface with diameter of major section is 900mm, diameter of minor section is 300mm,so large areas  hard facing it is very hard to do and meet the quality requirements, also the requirements for weld conditions is hard to reach as well, there is only one success case by Yunnan Dawei in China, it got highly attention when arrival of PO.

Technical Department and production Department discussed and researched specially, and re-test, evaluation gradually , with support of Group, arrangement of G.Manager, guidance of Chief Engineers, finally got the optimal processing parameters, weld plan, and after that improves operation techniques gradually, enforce qulity supervision, also installed  jigs and fixtures in case of power off,  also overtake the conditions of high temperature and other difficulties, with 12 days continious weld, finally finished successfully, now three sets of slag collections have been finished, all of them meet drawings and relative requirements.
