On the 27th Aug. 2008, the double casing high temperature high pressure multistage power recovery turbine used in Hydrodesulfurizing of Heavy Oil Fraction service operated successfully at the first attempt, which is manufactured by Dalian Deep Blue Pump Co., Ltd. for West Pacific Petrochemical Company Co., Ltd Dalian. With operation in a good condition, all the parameters can meet the API 610 Standard��s requirements.

Major device equipment autonomisation, equipment sinicization, power saving and pollutant reduction are the basic national policies. Dalian Deep Blue Pump Co., Ltd. is in response to the call of the nation, to invest a great deal of manpower and material resources into research and development about the key equipment applied for domestic major device. On Jan. 2008, Dalian Deep Blue Pump Co., Ltd. received and carried on sinicizated reconstruction project about double casing high pressure hydraulic turbine of hydrogenation feed units, for West Pacific Petrochemical Company Co., Ltd Dalian. With 8 months�� efforts of related department of two companies, after commissioning on 8th Aug 2008, turbine units was put into formal operation on 27th Aug 2008.

As power recovery unit, double casing high pressure multistage hydrogenation feed pump driven by multistage hydraulic turbine and electrical motor, equipped gear box between motor and pump, as well as clutch between turbine and pump. Capacity of turbine is 300 m3/h. Head is 1565 m. Pumping liquid is 335�� residual oil. Suction pressure is 12.8 MPa. Recovery power is 650KW.

The successful development of this unit indicates that Dalian Deep Blue Pump Co., Ltd gains breakthrough progress in power recovery field, which will be the import substitution for large size hydrogenation feed pump and hydraulic turbine unit, and reveals Deep Blue��s capability of Independent Innovation and manufacturing. Meanwhile, the development about key pump units in petrochemical, coal chemical and nuclear industries are on the process .
